MUST RESIST VALENTINO SHOES

There comes a time in ones life when they need to let go and for me, today is that day.
I've been harbouring a secret love for far too long and it has got to stop.
That love is for the Valentino Rockstuds. The heels, the pumps, the flats, I love them all but it just isn't meant to be.
I have resigned myself to the fact that the chances are that I'll never own them and I'm going to have to be ok with that. From now on, I am promising myself that I will not stalk them online anymore.
Haha lets bring things back into the real world. The fact is I love handbags and I spend a lot of money on them but I'm just not willing to part with the same amount of money for shoes at the moment because I believe that I can still use my handbags in 40 years time but I know that wont be the case with my shoes. If my budget changes in the future then my thoughts on that might change but at the moment, I just can't justify it. The same with the Chanel Espadrilles. As much as I love them, they're just a ridiculous amount of money for a pair of shoes.
I'd likely buy the flat Valentinos and I don't believe that they'd be particularly long lasting- for over £400 I'd want them to last for life through lots of wear! I was really put off spending a lot of money on shoes after I bought a couple of pairs of Steve Madden flats that ended up being such ridiculously poor quality and although my faith is slowly being restored in footwear after my recent Michael Kors purchases (more on this to follow!), I'm not quite there yet.
