From Day to Night Little Black Dress

Earlier this summer I was contacted by eShakti. They asked if I’d review an article of their clothing. After checking out their site, I knew I had to.

eShakti has a large base of stylish clothes. That in and of itself would be enough. THEN they add another level of amazingness.

Their clothes are customizable. I chose this black, skater cut, dress. I wanted a dress I could wear to work and also wear out on a date or at a nicer networking event. The first important aspect of customization is you tell eShakti your height. This is helpful if you’re on the tall or short side, or, like me, you’re not quite “tall” but wear a size 0.

I chose the base dress, which I already really liked. Then I was able to chose exact measurements and changes! I needed a dress to wear to work for days I didn’t feel like wearing a suit. It needed to be modest in length and have sleeves (some people go sleeveless at the office. I don’t like to).

For work I put on this Truth and Pride blazer I got 90% off at Nordstrom Rack. I LOVE it. I’ve worn this same combo to the office with different shoes and different accessories twice now and both times I received a ton of compliments. This isn’t the exact dress I’m wearing, but it’s very close.

Not only was I able to customize the sleeve style, I was also able to choose the neckline. I don’t own many scoop neck clothes so I figured this would break me out of my standard v-neck choices

But best of all, I was able to choose the length. It can be hard to find dresses that are OK for court and not super boring for real-life. I chose a length that was closer to the knee, but not past the knee. And it’s PERFECT.

The site says that it takes two weeks to customize your order and ship it. I received my order shockingly fast. When it arrived I actually had no idea what it was because I didn’t expect to already have it at my doorstep. I would highly recommend checking out eShakti for your next clothing purchase.
