With bells on

Aaaaand we’re back in the cold! Not that you’d think it with my pale legs out, but it’s no fun shooting in the same old coats all the time, so I left it behind the camera. Anyway, what’s Christmas without the sniffles?!

Partywear is a funny term for me. Firstly, I’m not really a big party-goer (my days of office Christmas parties are done for the moment!), and secondly, you can give me a pretty dress any day of the week and I’ll find a way to wear it! But at this time of year, it’s unavoidable – lace, glitter, jewel colours and bodycon dominate, so I might as well get into the swing of things!

Remember the coat I styled up for Wallis? This red dress is theirs too! I’d normally avoid anything figure-hugging, but I was a bit like a bull to the bright red lace…only a very happy one, with bells on and presents in hand. I’ve said it before, but I’m not one to be held back by what people of a certain shape are told they should or shouldn’t wear! Especially when your burger belly can be masked by a cleverly placed pile of presents ; )
