Hi! As we promised, we write news with last Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Russia. It was very exciting and interesting fashion event. This time we were invited as press. So we carefully watched and many shooted, we notes details and discussing it's with each other, then to tell you about the most interesting fashion shows.
1st day of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Russia, we remember most vividly, because then was the opening of fashion week. Many people and light, original outfits and glamour, glitter and bustle, photographers and bloggers, anticipation and rapture, pathos and modesty, friendliness and arrogance. Fashion week - it is social phenomenon. Here - is all as in any society!
Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Russia was held in Exhibition Hall Manezh on Manezh Square near the Kremlin. It's nice that this event is elevated to a new level and became such popular among Russian bloggers. We can compare fashion weeks. 2 years ago we visited Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Russia by invitations. This fashion week is much steeper!
In 1st day we come to the evening. We worried and were late a little. Majestic and renovated Exhibition Hall Manezh met us calm and friendly. We went into the main hall. We immediately saw the big screen, where were broadcast fashion shows on-line and fashionable short films.
In the center of the hall was a lounge zone with white sofas for guests. On the left is a bar where you can sip champagne or a cup of coffee. And on the right there is the photocenter Canon and showrooms young designers and jewelers.
We loved the jewerly of young popular Russian duo designers - Rainbow Seekers. This bohemian jewelry made out of metal, chains, beads and crystals. These accessories are very popular among Moscow's fashionistas.
In addition, we estimated the showroom brand ROB-ART. Designer and photographer Katya Rozhdestvenskaya creates interesting prints on fabric.
In the 1st day of fashion week, we visited fashion shows two designers - is a young British brand Vilshenko and famous Russian designer BEssARION.
The first fashion show on Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Russia, which we visited - It's fashion show Vilshenko. This unknown clothing brand was for us opening. Its founder, Olga Vilshenko born in the Urals. She grew up in a creative family and from childhood loved to sew. Olga was trained in Russia and in London's Istituto Marangoni. The distinguishing feature of this fashion designer are natural fabrics, high quality and the presence of ethnic style in collections.
This fashion show was excellent! We loved the feminine dresses, silhouettes 70s, light and transparent fabrics, bright prints, leather, capes, ruffles, evening dresses. See for yourself!

The hall was packed full. Here were many VIP guests, celebrities, bloggers, stylists and photographers. We were able to take a seat in the last row. But Nastya made good photos of fashion show, despite the great distance and our entry-level camera. Overall we enjoyed this fashion show: all presented clothes - stylish and wearable, outfits were perfectly matched, models are attractive, and fashion designer is attentive and communicative. We think that a new wave of designers who are studying abroad there is a future in fashion. Russian spirit and European experience - a perfect combination for conquest fashionable Olympus?
