Add Bright, Glittery Goodness to your Eyes! Urban Decay NEW Moondust Shadows for Spring 2015

Four new additions have been added to Urban Decay’s Moondust Eyeshadow line this spring! If you’re new to Moondust eyeshadows, they are super sparkly shadows with irridescent sparkle that gives you a gorgeous, shimmery look that doesn’t feel dated or overdone (UD’s old shadows used to have this super chunky glitter embedded throughout, it was never my cup of tea and more ended up on your face than on your eyes.. not with these!)

The four new shades literally go from light to dark here- we’ve got an offwhite sparkle, all the way down to a brown-black with lotsa gold shimmer! Pictures and swatches below-

Cosmic Moondust Eyeshadow

Cosmic Moondust Eyeshadow

Cosmic is an off-white metallic white with flecks of bright white metallic shimmery goodness. This one doesn’t have a very opaque base color, and seems like it would work better as an overlay to add shimmer to a look.

Solstice Moondust Eyeshadow

Solstice Moondust Eyeshadow

Solstice is a metallic reddish pink with blue-green 3D shimmer and duo chrome. The base here is more opaque that other moondust shadows, and this one is such a nice combo of shadow shade and shimmer!

Ether Moondust Eyeshadow

Ether Moondust Eyeshadow

Ether is an eggplant purple base with bright, pink and blue 3D shift. The base color is pretty soft, but the shimmer is really there.

Scorpio Moondust Eyeshadow

Scorpio Moondust Eyeshadow

Scorpio is a soft, black brown with gold sparkle. This one is a bit different than the other shades in the sense that the sparkle sort of sits on top of the shade instead of blending in with it.

These shadows are also special because you can apply them wet or dry. Applied wet, these will be much more opaque, but applied dry they will work better overtop of other colors. You can also apply these on top of a sticky base, or with your fingertips (which is how UD recommends applying them).

Personally, I love these! I can’t wait to play with them and get you guys some FOTDs on the blog. I think these are great to mix in to a look, or even apply quick as an all over lid color for a quick look that still has a bit of flare.

These will be available from Sephora and Urban Decay for $20 this spring (unfortunately I don’t have an exact release date).
