Melt Cosmetics Love Sick Eyeshadow Stack

The Love Sick Eyeshadow Stack from Melt Cosmetics includes four bold eyeshadows that are magnetic and stack on top of each other in a really cool, unique style. I picked these up because I had seen so many looks with them on Instagram (Also got the Dark Matter stack!) This stack is definitely the brighter of the two, and has some pretty awesome shades.

Each stack includes four shadows and a small mirror. The shadows’ packaging has strong magnets inside, so they stack (and stay together) for easy storage.

Promiscuous is a reddish toned purple with blueish shimmer. This has a nice texture to it, but is a little weird to swatch. The color seems really buildable- you really have to press it on to get it to show up evenly. This would be a shade that would benefit most from using a white eyeshadow base.

Fixated is a bold, blue toned matte gray. This has really good color payoff and applied really smoothly.This shade is a really unique gray, and I love the blue tone it has. Loved the texture on this and how well it applied.

Amelie is a peachy gold with gold shimmer. Awesome color payoff and texture! This is a really beautiful color, and gives off a metallic sheen from the gold.

Love Sick is a deep burgundy red with a matte finish. This had nice color payoff, especially compared to Enigma, the red in the Dark Matter Eyeshadow Stack. Like Promiscuous, this shade would really benefit from a sticky eyeshadow base.

I definitely like this set better than the Dark Matter set, and I like the colors here. They’re definitely interesting; you don’t see shadows like Love Sick very often. I think the color palette here is really unique and probably not something most people would automatically put together, which ends up being a nice way to encourage creativity and coming up with looks you may not have otherwise. The fact that this stack has Amelie, the bright peachy gold, you can really go from a bright, easy to wear daylook, to something much darker and more vampy by adding in Love Sick.
