Pre-Birthday Retail Therapy

Tomorrow's my Birthday...(yay?) Was first going to title this post something like "Birthday Wishlist" but then I thought, really, one of the very few benefits of getting older is shopping like this for myself.

OK, I"m being superficial, there's more to getting older than shopping, right? Wisdom? Perspective? In case you haven't guessed, I don't enjoy my Birthday all that much. Hence the retail therapy distraction. I already think about the passage of time and getting older far too much, and then boom-I'm confronted by yet another Birthday.

Since I'm always on the look out for a fresh perspective on this topic, maybe some of you are too? Here's a few interesting articles on age-and getting older, that caught my eye lately.
