Elementary Educator focusing on all subject areas (math, language arts, social studies, and science) Literacy (reading and writing) includes: guided reading, literacy workstations/centers, phonemic awareness, phonics, comprehension, fluency, vocabulary, grammar, making words, Words Their Way, and writing workshop. Math includes: guided math, math workstations/centers, number sense, math facts, geometry, operations & algebraic thinking, number and operations in base ten, measurement & data, graphing, money, place value, and fractions. Science includes science projects and STEM projects. Social Studies includes Project-Based Learning. Character Education includes Responsive Classroom and Leader in Me. Integrated activities that focus on hands-on learning, multiple intelligences, and the arts included.
