Berlin was amazing, memorizing and incredibly beautiful. The picture on top is one of my favorite photos I took in Berlin and it was also on the very last day… Boee, still missy you pretty (and COLD!!) city. But I mean I couldn’t expect less of course, since it was the middle of winter that I went to Berlin for four days, because the Stylight Fashion Blogger Awards were held there.

I brought of course a fully stuffed suitcase and still wasn’t sure about if I would wear a skirt of trousers to the awardshow, ugh first life problems I know. But anyway. When I woke up that last morning, after a really fun day and evening with events and a nice dinner, I realized something important. I kind of had spent the cash money in Berlin. So I needed to pin real quick, so google maps my friend thank you. I ate some breakfast quicker than quick and hushed upstairs to my room again to get my little, orange bank pass. Then I runned to the busstop and missed the bus at one second so I just didn’t pay. That was a lie. Since the busstop was really close to my room, so I just walked relaxed with my kitty beanie to the busstop. The bus already came a few minutes later so I hopped in there and enjoyed a few of my last Berlin sights… Then I jumped out again and searched for the cash machine. I searched and searched, I was looking a t a place thinking: ‘This probably isn’t it, so I just continue walking.’ After asking someone for the cash machine, it obviously turned out to be at the place that I saw at first. But me being just the stubborn me, walked passed that. Of course, what else did you expected me to do?

After I got the cash that I needed to pay the Bed and Breakfast, I went back real quick since I needed to catch a train and I wanted to walk to the Haubtbahnhof for my last few looks at Berlin. So I shot some last pictures of me with a sad face because I didn’t wanted to leave, paid the nice man of the Bed and Breakfast and started walking. Of course I wouldn’t be me if I didn’t walked the wrong way while I was looking at Google Maps. Don’t know how I did that, I really don’t, but it happened.

But remember I still had Google Maps, so after looking really close at the map I saw how I could come to the station. So I walked and stopped, took pictures and started walking again. Some people probably thought I was lost since they came up to me and asked very friendly if I needed help, I probably looked like that. But that was nice. I eventually came at the station after 20 minutes walking instead of 10… But I also had my way to big suitcase with me, so that explains also a big part of the time.

After looking outside one more time entered the Haubtbahnhof with my suitcase, this sentence looks like I entered a ship.. haha. Anyway I didn’t bought some food, why is still not clear, but I didn’t. I made some last photos there and hopped into the train, close to an electric point of course. While the train was leaving on 10.40 I made sure I could sit well. And to be honest I sat great, loved the view with all those tall hills. No, they were mountains. They were seriously really high, compared to my little, flat country.

It took us 5 hours to come to Amersfoort station, while the train needed to go to Amsterdam Central Station… What happened? Well there was a problem, since there was a train out of his rails on the route we needed to take. So we needed to get into another train.. With my suitcase.. And then I needed to go into another train on Utrecht central since the one from Amersfoort doesn’t stops at my station, it isn’t even close to my station.. So I got out the train again, with my bag, suitcase and goodiebags since they didn’t fitted in the suitcase anymore… I went to the other train but there it was. No elevator nearby, only stairs! That was hell. But then there was a sweet person who grabbed the end of my suitcase and helped, still thankful for that. Then I hopped into another train and 1,5 hours later I was at Schagen station where my daddy came to pick me up after some train delays.

If you’re doubting to go to a place on your own, don’t be. Just do it, it makes you feel really good and you’re going to have the time of your live. Never, ever, ever, doubt yourself. Oh and if you want to go to Berlin. Just do it. The city is amazing, the people are really friendly and the atmosphere is incredible.
