We all have those few, tried and true brands that have been a part of our lives for years. Whether it’s a specific pancake mix you’ve always cooked breakfast with, a candle you’ve always burned, or a perfume you’ve always worn, brands that we love oftentimes become a mainstay of our day-to-day for years on end.

I remember when I received my very first piece of Jon Hart. I had just come home from school one hot day in May to find an elaborately-wrapped gift on my doorstep. As is custom in the South, friends and relatives shower high school seniors with graduation gifts during the weeks leading up to graduation (better than Christmas, in my opinion) and inside this present in particular, I found a burnt orange ‘Grande’ emblazoned with the University of Texas Longhorn.

So marked the start of my Jon Hart collection… and most Dallas grads will tell you I am spot on when I say “collection.” Jon Hart has long been the line of choice when it comes to meaningful, timeless gifts that will last a lifetime, and as such, lucky recipients usually end up with a few different items before embarking on their first year of college. In fact, I gave my best guy friends Jon Hart monogrammed money clips as grad presents! I was given the same pink makeup case I use to this day by my aunt and uncle. Not only has it held up impeccably, but I’ve never found a better one! The quality and durability of each piece is incredible… one of the reasons Jon Hart is a household favorite in Texas.

And a favorite of girls and guys as well! The array of colors offered across all pieces make Jon Hart items a perfect fit for both – the guys favorite typically being “tan.” (Anyone surprised?) The personalization options are amazing as well… from initials to greek letters to college logos, there’s something for everyone!

I’m so excited that today, I get to help debut one of Jon Hart’s newest shades… mint! Of all Jon Hart shades I’ve seen throughout the years, I can say this one is hands down my favorite. Scroll below… I think you’ll agree!

Needless to say, it’s my absolutely privilege to introduce Jon Hart to those of you who haven’t encountered the brand before today. And to those of you fellow long-time Jon Hart lovers, how adorable is the new mint shade? I loved being able to pack up my two new pieces, the medium square duffel and makeup case, for my trip to New Orleans this weekend. They made for the perfect colorful travel companions to a fun weekend!
