A frustrated English teacher renamed famous poem titles as clickbait, so that the students would actually read them. So hilarious. But if you really want to laugh…..

Read this. Ah, satire. I laughed so hard.

Feeling less than confident these days? You are awesome, but it’s hard to feel that way sometimes. Here are ten ways to feel more confident. All small things that are doable.

Ever think of doing a mid year review? I have mixed opinions on this.

My Favourite Pins This Week

Do you guys like to use your crock pot (slow cooker) in the summer? It’s awesome for not heating up your kitchen, and with summer just ramping up, it’s a good time to bust it out of whatever cupboard it’s been hiding in. This quinoa chicken primavera recipe is so delicious- full of protein and veggies… and pesto, which is one of my favourite things to eat. Pinterest link is here, and the original recipe post is here.

I love citrus desserts, they just scream ‘summer!!!’ to me. It’s actually a pet peeve when I’m at a restaurant in the summer and their desserts are still the heavy cakes they have during the winter. Anyway, I’m rambling because I adore lime desserts, they are brighter and more flavourful than their lemony counterparts. These mini key lime pies are perfect- they come together in under an hour, and have surprisingly few ingredients- 3 for the crust, 5 for the pie. Pinterest link is here, and the original recipe can be found here.

This DIY post on marbling large object like planters is fantastic. I love using the painter’s tape to create great lines and the negative white space, and this uses spray paint as a substitute for nail polish, which is the most common way to do marbling (according to Pinterest). But if you want to marble anything big, you probably don’t want to spend that much on nail polish! Pinterest link is here, and the original DIY post is here.

These embroidered magnets are a clever new use for covered buttons, and perfect for those who love embroidery but feel like they don’t have the time commitment for a larger project. These floral ones are pretty, but you could also do words, animals, all sorts of things. Pinterest link is here, and the DIY post is here.

I love quick and easy hair styles, and this one minute messy bun is right up my alley. I especially like the idea of putting in a pretty blossom or a neat hair pin to decorate it for something a bit dressier, too. Pinterest link is here, and the original tutorial is here.

Have a wonderful weekend, friends! For me, this weekend will be all about Guy… it’s his birthday on Saturday, and Sunday is Father’s Day!
