Choosing the best rug for your space

Finding your personal style and picking out the right rug for your room is the hard part, but it can be just as tough to know what exactly your space needs as far as rug size and furniture placement. So today, I’m sharing an easy-to-follow rug size and placement guide to help you get the look you want in your house.

Take a look at the graphic below to see what the placement and standard sizes are for your living room, dining room, kitchen and bedroom. Keep in mind that these aren’t hard and fast rules, and your room may not fit perfectly into these categories. If that’s the case, you can determine a correct rug size by measuring your space, taking into consideration the size of your furniture, and then ordering a rug based on your measurements.
