WOOL PEACOAT (styledsnapshots)

One of my favorite things about living in the city is the change in seasons and excitement around the holidays. Just the other week it was all over the news that the Rockefeller tree was being delivered and it was the second largest one they have ever had. Often I try and walk Hadley and meet Matt for lunch in Bryant Park, but we decided to walk up to Rockefeller to check out the progress of setting up the tree and the ice skating rink. If you live in or are visiting NYC now is the time to ice skate. Both Bryant Park and Rockefeller don’t have any lines and the rink is nearly empty. Matt and I always kick ourselves for now trying to ice-skate sooner each year and then never do because we don’t have the patience to wait in the lines closer to Christmas.

Although the sun was out, the wind was whipping around and there was a chill in the air, I was happy to have worn a heavier coat for walking around.
