A Pink Living Room

I’ve been debating on paint colors for our large living/dining room and have finally settled on pink. The shade, which I found at the local paint shop, is a dead ringer for Farrow & Ball’s Pink Ground, a pale warm pink with lots of yellow. My husband has concerns, but I keep assuring him that he’ll love it when all is said and done. These photos are from Ben Pentreath’s old London sitting room helped me sell him on the idea. Isn’t the wall color handsome? With the right pieces, pink walls don’t have to appear cutesy at all. Plus, its warm glow is universally flattering (especially paired with some hygge candlelight).
