Over the last few weeks I’ve had a whirlwind of major fun.
My paper crafting pile of projects is sky high and I’m on pins and needles ready to share with you…
Finally I have a minute to sit and share one project that’s glittery and sweet! Maybe TWO!!
After today, I’ll be sharing projects from the recent cruise as well as the Stampin’ Up! conference, truly a ton of paper goodness!
Banners for Christmas
Recently I shared this card in my bi-weekly newsletter (make sure to subscribe!!). I wanted to share a few more photos of this card because I loved the glittery shine it has and the elegant gold embossing.
The banners in the Banners for Christmas stamp set rock my world. I love how the banners wrap over the candy cane and mistletoe images and especially when the banners are embossed.
The Real Red Glitter Stampin’ Emboss Powder was perfect for the Candy Cane image. I’m calling this PERFECTION.
If you are someone who is not a fan of glitter, the embossing glitter is a bonus. This is glitter that doesn’t rub off. YAY!
The picture never does a card justice because you can’t see how the glitter gives a shimmer when you move the card around.
Tips & Tricks
- Create a watercolor wash onto Watercolor Paper using Pink Pirouette and Watermelon Wonder Inks.
- The Watercolor paper measures 3-3/4″ x 5-1/2″ placed onto the Whisper White card base.
- The Candy Cane Lane Designer Washi Tape is perfect to complete this project. Simply place a strip along the edge of the card front. Adhere Watercolor Paper over card base using Dimensionals.
One Last Project
I couldn’t help share ONE last cute project I created for the cruise last week.
One of the highlights of the cruise was the swaps. AMAZING swaps. This was created for the tag swap. I’ll be sharing all of the projects later this week so hang tight. You don’t want to miss them.
The Greetings from Santa Bundle was used to create this fun tag. My favorite little detail is the Mini Jingle Bells. SO cute and just a little added detail to make this tag POP.
