Some Crochet Things

Good ol' Bunting

I thought I'd just share some of the unfinished business that's going on around here as it seems a have a few loose ends on the hook at the moment. I have been trying out a few things for a bag idea I had using this lovely Safan yarn, but nothing is coming out just right so I think I'll just make some nice and easy lacy bunting instead. The mantle needs a bit of summery colour.

Painted Flowers Blanket

This is been one of my favourite things to work on lately and it's almost finished too - yay!
I'm so close to the end of making it that I only have a few ends to weave in and then I think I might block this one, because it's quite diddy. Hopefully once that's done, I'll find some time to get pictures of the whole thing, so you can see it properly.

Wonky Grannies

I've also been testing out some methods for sorting out those wonky grannies that have been troubling some of you out there. Skewiff squares seem to be one of the most prolific problems out in crochetland so I'm hoping to put together a post on how to get those grannies straightened out!

Keeping it Together

Just before the holidays I also started work on some joining tutorials to go on the new Crochet Corner site. Well, I've only taken some pictures so far, so the actual tutorials are probably still a while away but it's a start. Baby steps, that what they say.

Hopefully next time I'll have something complete to show you but until then, why not make me feel a bit better and let me know how many wips you have in your workbasket?
