Happy Summer!

Heute freue ich mich, Euch meine erste Karte für das Sunny Studio Stamps Design Team zu zeigen.
I am so happy and excited to share my first card as a Sunny Studio Stamps design team member.

Ich habe als erstes dieses tolle Set mit dem Namen Island Getaway benutzt. Was für ein tolles Set für den Sommer - oder um vom Sommer zu träumen.
I start with this fabulous new set called Island Getaway. Aaaaw, what a great set for summer - or for dreaming of it.

Als ich die Flip Flops konnte ich geradezu den Sand zwischen meinen Zehen spüren. Also wusste ich gleich, dass ich eine Strand Karte machen wollte.
Den Strand und das Wasser habe ich mit Inkblending gemacht (gibt es dafür eigentlich einen deutschen Ausdruck?) und einem Stück gerissenen Masking Tape. (oder hierfür?). Um die Gischt etwas realistischer zu gestalten, habe ich noch weiß und ein wenig Glitzer hinzugefügt.
Um die Flip Flops noch ein bisschen mehr aufzuhübschen, habe ich noch eine kleine Blume drauf gesetzt.
When I saw these super cut flip flops I literally could feel the sand between my toes. So I knew instantly that I wanted to make a beach card.
I created the beach and the water with inkblending by masking of areas with a ripped masking tape. I added a little bit of white and sparkle for the sea spray.
I finished by adding the tiny flower to the flip flops to dress them up even more.
