Camouflage nails

Today I’d love to share with you a simple camo nail design. It’s not the first time I do camouflage nails and I’m sure you’ll see more of the pattern in the future. Now let’s see today’s pics:

The camo nail design is really easy to do. You don’t need to be very careful when hand painting the pattern and you don’t need precision. In fact, if you accidentally partially overlay one color spot on another the design most likely will look more realistic :)

The pattern is hand painted with acrylic paints and a nail art brush over a subdued gold holo background.

The base color is ILNP Iconic, a champagne nude with gold holographic shimmer. The polish was released for Fall 2014 along with 10 more shades (note the old design bottle). Iconic is a perfect choice if you want your nails nude, elegant and festive at the same time. Here I have a few pics of the polish on its own.

Also, the nude works great as a base for nail art. In the pics I have 2 coats of ILNP Iconic.

Thank you for looking!
