COLOURQ CHALLENGE #352....END OF JULY PICK UP SOME SUMMER COLORS!

Welcome this hot last Tuesday in July. I am back with another challenge over at the ColourQ. Arielle has brought us these pretty colors, So Saffron, Only Orange, Rich Razzleberry, Rose Red and white. Hope to see you in the gallery this week. As summer gets ready for August and back to school, the lazy or busy days will soon get busier, so take a break and play along!

The card base is white as is the mat. I am not really happy with this card, but I do love the floating flowers! I don't think there is too much explanation needed here, just a simple display of color, two and three step stamping...easy peasy! Maybe I will add some sequins. The colors do melt away, as we are melting this summer!

I made a second card this morning die cut from a piece I stamped last night. I added some embossing and sponge work, stamping on the lid. This is a much more creative card! Happy with this one.

I am really needing a new better camera....Sunday, for the first time, my phone buzzed with a weather alert, the heat index was 110-115. That is hot. However yesterday even though it was super hot, the wind was blowing. Around 7 pm it started raining a nice slow steady rain! Yeah, love the smell of a good rain storm.
