This is my first time trying anything from the Drybar brand, and I did have high expectations based on previous hearsay from other reviewers.

Let’s start with the brush! I packed this on my recent vacation and was pleased with it. It didn’t get destroyed in travel despite being bumped around a bit, plus it brushed my hair nicely. I am pleased with this for traveling and love that it doesn’t take up space. Plus, it’s yellow!

The Texas Tea Volumizing Hair Spray is my favorite product in the kit. I often curl my hair on days that I don’t wash it, and when it’s hot and humid that doesn’t last long without a little help. This hair spray keeps my curls in place, isn’t sticky, and doesn’t make my hair stiff. Not only that, the scent is subtle. I would purchase the full-size bottle of this one, and I am not a hair spray person.

The last product in the kit is the Triple Sec dry shampoo. This is my least favorite item in the kit. It has a VERY strong scent, and if you apply too much, expect your hair to be incredibly stiff. The scent actually gives me a headache; it is that strong. Even lightly applied, this product just didn’t wow me, but I’m going to keep using it to see if I change my mind.

I’m glad that I purchased this kit because I really enjoyed trying all three products, and found a new favorite with the Texas Tea hair spray! I will definitely be trying out other Drybar products in the future. Do you have any favorites from this brand?
