Holiday Glam in Flowers and Bows

I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving! I took a much needed Internet break last week when I was in St. Louis, and it felt amazing. Now that Thanksgiving is over, it’s full steam ahead into the holiday season, and having a little break was just what I needed.

Since December starts tomorrow (crazy!), it’s time to start thinking about holiday outfits. As much as I’m a warm weather girl, this is my favorite time of year to dress up. There are so many parties and events, meaning it’s the perfect excuse to go all out with your look.

I bought this green and black skirt from Anthropologie fairly recently, but have already worn it multiple times. I saw it online right when it hit the Anthropologie website, and happened to see it in the store later that day when I went shopping. I wasn’t going to ignore that sign, and instantly took it to the checkout line. I totally think this skirt is something right out of a Gossip Girl episode. Can’t you see Blair Waldorf wearing this?!

The center of the flowers are actually made up of shimmery threads, so it adds a subtle pop of sparkle. I thought it was silver, but my mom thinks its gold. Either way, it’s subtle enough that you can pair it with silver or gold accessories and pull it off!
