February Work Tasks {Valentine's Day FREEBIE!}

Ohhhh, I think it's no secret I looove me some themed work tasks for all my classroom cuties! Not only do work tasks allow me to get my craft on, they also allow me to sneak in assessments and skills in fun ways, so my students are super pumped about getting their work on.
I buy all my materials from Dollar Tree, Dollar General, and Target and store in my monthly bins heading up to the "holiday" and then the week or two before break em out and start creating! I like having the materials ahead of time so I can start thinking up ideas in my head of how I can incorporate them into work boxes. I also like to display them on a table during my planning so the kids see them coming in and get excited about the upcoming tasks, and then I put them away to keep that excitement going! This way, their work is almost like forbidden fruit that they can't wait to taste and they are little worker bees when they finally get a chance to "play" with the items!! SNEAKY SNEAKY!
