sometimes i like my art super simple. a collection of sketches is just so sophisticated looking, don’t you think? when at the flea market i always keep my eyes peeled for classic drawings like these — you never know when you’re going to find something really special (think treasures like antique roadshow!). i keep thinking i’ll start my own gallery of these somewhere in my home — maybe the new guest room i’m working on after the remodel. etsy can be a great resource for vintage drawings if you don’t mind the hunt, ebay, of course, too. also check out chairish — just use keywords like “vintage / sketches / drawings / charcoal / line art / abstract / art” etcetera and you should be able to dig up some good pieces in a range of prices. or if you’ve got talent — draw some of your own!
