NZ Secret Santa

This year, I joined the NZ Secret Santa which was organised by NZ Post. I signed up when I came across their tweet about it. I mean, who doesn't like participating in secret santa's, right? I read through the whole process and it's actually simple...

So as soon as I signed up, all I had to do was wait for someone to be assigned to me! The fun part was getting my Nancy Drew skills on and play detective (aka ~stalked~ whoever was assigned to me so I can figure out what to send them!)
Of course, I had to do my part as well. Part of the whole game was to tweet about our likes so that our secret santa's won't have a hard time figuring out what we like. And here's what I tweeted:

Then, the fun part begins. We were given a few weeks to come up with the perfect gift. The deadline was on the 10th (and I sent mine on the deadline) We didn't even had to worry about privacy issues because our addresses weren't given out - gifts were addressed to NZ Post, and NZ Post will then forward the gifts to us.
I was so happy when my dashboard finally looked like this. They received my gift, and the gift for me was already in the warehouse as well!

And today, a lot of those who participated already received their gifts - including me!

I am beyond grateful to whoever my secret santa is! You picked the loveliest lipstick colour, as well as the best Star Wars gift! The humourous letter is now up on my bedroom wall.
I am definitely joining again next year! I hope every New Zealander who reads this would sign up next year as well. I promise, you will enjoy it!
