Weekly Review // 2

Happy weekend, Wonder friends! I hope you all had a great week. Mine was a little less productive than last week, but still decent none the less. Do you ever just have those weeks where your brain won't work properly? That is how I felt this week. I struggled to get into "inspiration mode" which was a little frustrating. Here is what went on around here:

Blog

I had a harder time sticking with my schedule this week and didn't have any backup blog posts on hand, so I stressed a little. Then I reminded myself that it wasn't the end of the world and I still had tons of content people could browse through. I managed to post:

I realized that my mailing list popup wasn't working properly for the past little while so I fixed that as well. I also decided to check my stats for this blog and noticed that -- holy crap -- my visitors actually doubled this month! Hello new readers!!

On Thursday I worked on a sponsored campaign all day which sort of threw my schedule off as well. I guess I need to learn to stop waiting until the last minute sometimes.

I thought a lot about the content here and noticed how it has been taking a turn towards more of the business/blogging posts again, so I'm going to make an effort to mix in more of the creative things that I miss. More photos too, since I feel like I haven't been showcasing many on here as of late.

I'm just at a point right now where I want to do more and grow this blog even more. I want to have a little team and get Dustin on board behind the scenes so that we can grow this business together. I just don't know where to start right now because that idea is all so new to me.

I took this photo by one of the residences on the beachfront. I just found something poetic about the tree being totally chopped to bits but still standing.

Instagram

Since this week was a non-functioning brain week, I didn't post as much as I wanted to on Instagram. I really don't know where my head was this week but I sort of slacked. I'd been trying to post 2-3 photos per day, but it didn't end up like that this week. I did however choose the Wonder Forest case winners! I gained 481 new followers this week (up from last week!).

Anxiety

I did pretty well with keeping the anxiety to a minimum. I went shopping for some tools and ended up at 4 different stores in search of them. I also did all of the grocery shopping. Both times I didn't feel anxious at all, except near the very end of my grocery shopping trip, but I managed and all was good! If someone told me I would be doing all of the grocery shopping alone 6 months ago, I wouldn't have believed them.

Life

I mentioned how we would be installing new flooring last weekend. Well, we did, and it looks awesome! Except, we are nowhere near finished and are hoping to get it all done today. Our house has been a total mess for the week and it's starting to drive me a little crazy!

We are heading back to my hometown tomorrow to celebrate my mom's birthday. I feel horrible because I haven't seen my family since Christmas. I am really excited to squeeze my little nephews!

Work

I got some samples in of some new products that are going to be released soon featuring the same designs as my mobile cases. They are more like decor/lifestyle items, including these cute coasters:

I'll keep you updated on where you can get them and when they come out!

I think that's all that really happened this week. What did you get up to?

xo, Dana
