How to Turn Your Instagrams into Stickers

It's no secret I've become a little bit obsessed with Instagram lately! I even have a second personal account where I share more unedited pictures of my kids without worrying too much about lighting, or how they will fit into my grid.
However, sometimes it feels like I put a lot of effort into taking fun pictures, and I should do something more with them. I have listed a few over at Society6, and I've also used some as a part of my web design, and I've even used them in my business cards. But I thought it would be so much fun to turn some of them into stickers.
For this project, I used the Ink Jet Printable Vinyl from Expressions Vinyl (thank you for providing the vinyl for this project!). This kind of vinyl is permanent, so don't expect the stickers to be very removable. I even printed some more pictures of the kids for them to use to label some of their plastic storage bins.
Now there are a lot of different ways to do this, but since I'm all about short cuts, I came up with a pretty quick way.
How to turn your favorite Instagrams into stickers:
1. Visit your Instagram profile on your computer (for example mine is instagram.com/linesacross)
2. Take a screen shot of some of the pictures you want to print. I use an extension on Google Chrome for screen shots, so it's easy for me to snap the picture and crop it at the same time.

3. Open Word (or Google Docs) and insert the pictures. I was able to fit a total of 12 pictures per page. I also set the page margins to narrow to make the most of the vinyl. (I also added a few cropped pictures on top of another picture in my grid that I didn't want to print.)

4. Print! Make sure that the matte side of the vinyl is facing up in your printer and that the waxy side is facing down. I printed both of the sheets below in high quality settings, but I printed the top sheet standard, and the bottom sheet in photo printing mode. The standard mode made pictures that were brighter and more vibrant, but lost some of the detail. I feel like overall the photo printing mode produced better results.

5. Cut your pictures with scissors or you can use a paper cutter (I LOVE this one), and enjoy.
