OPI Pulled Out A Plum

Over the years I've had a little bit of a love/hate relationship with OPI. With all brands you get shades that work better than others. Despite some previous downfalls, I decided to give OPI's Pulled Out a Plum shade to see if it would work for me.


Pulled Out A Plum is a gorgeous deep purple shade with a metallic finish. I was completely drawn to the colour and we all know I love a good metallic shade! With OPI you get the usual thicker brush which is one reason I usually avoid them, they just don't work great with small nails. Though if the shade is as pretty as this, I can forgive the applicator.

While the shade is beautiful, I did find the formula to be a bit on the watery side. Don't get me wrong, it was easy to apply but I found I needed to apply at least 3 coats before the shade looked opaque enough.

All in all I think it's a lovely shade, but the applicator and formula sadly let it down for me.
