Monday Morning Inspiration

Donkere lippen. Het blijft iets waaraan ik mij nog nooit heb gewaagd. Omdat ik simpelweg niet geloof dat zo’n dieprode kleur mooi staat bij mijn bleke huid en blonde haren. En geef toe: je moet het ook durven, zo’n opvallende kleur op je lippen – zonder jezelf in het hoekje Gothic of Emo te duwen. Dat donkere lippen ook mooi en klassevol kunnen zijn, bewijst deze Monday Morning Inspiration. Strak haar, een bijna nude gezicht en dan… bam! Die lippen. Misschien moet ik mezelf ook maar eens wagen aan zo’n diepe kleur. Maar dan wel stiekem; binnen de vier muren van mijn eigen huis. Dragen jullie donkere lipstick?

Dark lips. It remains something I don’t dare to wear. Because I simply do not believe that such a deep red colour looks good with my pale skin and blonde hair. And admit it: you have to be a strong person to wear such a striking color on your lips – without pushing yourself into the Goth or Emo corner. But this Monday Morning Inspiration proves that dark lips can also be beautiful and classy. Tight hair, a nearly nude face and then … bam! Those lips. Maybe I should try on such a colour myself, but secretly; within the four walls of my own home. Do you dare to wear dark lipstick?
