Birthday Weekend in Whistler

Unless you’ve been living under a rock (no judgement here), you’ve probably heard about the two stabbings that occurred in Whistler over the long weekend. As sad as that was, my boyfriend and I still managed to have a good time. We went ATVing where we rode through old growth forests, around mountain lakes, and into the backcountry where we got spectacular views of Whistler’s mountains. A trip to Whistler also wouldn’t be complete without a stop at Scandinave Spa. The hammock haven is my personal fave.
My actual birthday was on Tuesday and I just want to thank everyone for your lovely birthday wishes. I’ve been spending a lot of time catching up with old friends and feeding my soul the much-needed replenishment it needed. I’ve always said I’m not the measure of what I’ve done, but more of who I am and whom I surround myself with. There are few people who grace my life with getting to know not what I like, but what I’m like. I’m talking about those who’ve gotten past the surface level, almost drowned, and still cares to risk the depth of my whole existence. They know who they are.
