Modern Dog magazine

“The more people I meet, the more I love my dog.”
― Unknown

Couldn’t have dreamt up a more perfect sidekick. I’ve had people tell me Maximus is “just a dog,” but I’ve experienced more empathy, more kindness, and more compassion from him that I have from most humans.

Although I don’t talk about my job very much, I’ve been working part-time at Modern Dog magazine for almost 6 months now, and I can honestly say it’s the first job I’ve ever had that I genuinely enjoy working at. Additionally, I’d like to share some great, spectacular, exciting, wonderfully mind-blowing news and inform the world (rather, whoever still reads this shit), that Maximus and I are in the Spring 2015 issue!

I never thought I see the day an article of mine gets published in a magazine, let alone one of the largest dog-related publications in North America. In case you’re not familiar, Modern Dog is a quarterly publication dedicated to all things dog. Each issue features award-winning stories, cool new products, training and behavioural tips, photo contests, health and wellness, breed profiles, fantastic giveaways, and much more. At Modern Dog, we also believe in supporting the efforts of rescue organizations and their volunteers. We believe that surrendered dogs deserve forever homes’ regardless of age, breed, or lineage. It’s a large part of Modern Dog’s mission to support charitable organizations that help dogs.

If you’re interested in getting a subscription to Modern Dog magazine (we ship within Canada, to the US, and internationally), click here. If you’re located in Canada or the US, you can get 1 year for $12 or 2 years for $22 with code MAX.
