On Friday I went to see my good friend Calvyn at BRUSH Salon for a cut and colour. I have this urge to cut my hair short again and I’m trying my damnedest to resist, although, we did take a couple inches off. With every seasons change, comes the desire to have a change in appearance; not to mention things are different and I felt altering something in my physicality would complete the transition. Does anyone else ever feel like this?
I don’t think anyone can underestimate the importance of hair, and I love experimenting with it. Calvyn’s the only stylist I trust and have ever allowed to do whatever he wants and not feel any apprehension whatsoever. This time last year I was blonde, then in October I went red, and now I’m purple. I plan on going back to see Calvyn in 6 weeks to get it lightened a bit more. As the above quote says, “Life is too short to have boring hair.”
