Look ma, I’m wearing a suit!

On Friday I had the pleasure of playing dress-up with Topshop’s personal shopper extraordinaire, Kenneth Wyse (fun fact: he and my boyfriend are high school friends!). We spent the afternoon picking out some must-have holiday pieces including this amazing tailored suit jacket and matching trousers, cozy short sleeve sweater, and floppy hat.

I’m going to be honest with you, there’s no way I would’ve put together this outfit if I were shopping on my own. I’m more inclined to wearing loose, less structured pieces, which is why I always enjoy my visits with Kenneth. Whether we know it or not, everyone has a signature style. Still, it’s nice to get a second opinion and have someone encourage you to try new things every now and then, not to mention not be afraid to tell you if something doesn’t look good on you.
