{DIY} : Dark Circles Corrector.

I think its time I did another DIY post. My DIY’s are always my most popular posts on the blog and since I made a new discovery that I know a lot of people need a little help with, I thought that I’d share it here on the blog. Its my last stretch to the end of 2nd year and “exam season” will be starting soon. Usually when exams kicks in, I have a lot of all nighters and in my personal opinion all nighters = dark circles around the eyes.

I came up with such a nifty concoction that I’m even proud of, why? Because it works like a bomb!

What you’ll need:
•Your fave facial oil. (I chose Balm Balm’s Little Miracle Rosehip Serum.
•Eye cream that combats puffiness. (I chose Garnier’s Skin Naturals Pure Active)
•Optional – BB Cream, CC Cream, Tinted Moisturizer or Foundation.

Method:
-Mix your eye cream and facial oil into a “refrigerator friendly” container, either using a makeup brush (preferably concealer) or a cotton swab. I chose a shot glass because I never use it and I prefer glass in the fridge than metal or plastic. Let it set overnight.
-This next step is optional. If you’re not going to have time, you can mix your BB Cream, CC Cream, Tinted Moisturizer or Foundation into the above mixture.
-In the morning, gently dab it onto the problematic area with either your ring finger or your concealer brush and VIOLA!

Why I chose the products that I did:
•Balm Balm Little Miracle Rosehip Serum: If there’s one product that I loved from the first minute I started using it, it would have to be this. I’ve mentioned it over and over on my blog so you should know its definitely a goodie. Its also 100% organic.
•Garnier Skin Naturals Pure Active: I love the refreshing feeling that this product adds to my skin, especially around the eye area and its packed with cucumber extract which is known to eliminate puffiness.
•Avon Ideal Flawless BB Cream: Instead of applying my BB Cream to my eye area afterward, I reckoned that I might aswell add it to the mixture because it saves time.

I put the mixture in the fridge because we all know the “teaspoons in the fridge overnight and place it on the eyes in the morning to deflate puffy eyes” technique but aint nobody got time for that when you have a tight schedule or little time, or else you wouldn’t be sitting with dark circles. Right? RIGHT! So the cooling effect of the mixture in the fridge overnight takes care of the puffiness.

As for the dark circles? NO MORE! You’ll have your BB Cream or Foundation covering the dark marks while the other ingredients in the mixture works its magic it to get rid of it.

And that’s it! Easy peasy lemon cucumber squeezey.
Let me know if you should try it, I’d love to hear your results.
