Let’s be honest. Really, let’s just be honest about what we all really look forward to at holiday parties. It’s not the mingling, the merriment, or endless questions from your relatives about what you’re doing with your life. It’s the food.
Well, it’s the alcohol. And then it’s the food.
Oh, come all ye cookie trays, stuffed mushrooms, cheese balls and even you, mystery dips. You make me feel both joyful and triumphant! Come ’round and gather on my plate, and then suddenly end up all over my cute holiday clothes. Because I got a little too excited. And maybe had a few too many glasses of wine.
