With the right style, fit and function, you can convince almost anyone that you’re dressed up for a work-oriented occasion — even if you’re still wishing for the weekend.
Let me tell you: Acing this sartorial strategy is veeery effective — especially on a Monday. It’s easy, really, and it all comes down having the right skirt.
I was browsing Shopbop sometime last year when I came across a then new-to-me brand, called J.O.A. They’re LA-based and built on fun, easy-to-wear styles.
J.O.A’s pieces are really unique yet easy-to-wear (like the skirt I’m rocking today), but what I like most about the brand is that nearly everything is priced under $100. Ah-mazing!
It’s a beautiful thing when you, your closet and your wallet can all agree, isn’t it?
I just added a few of my favorite finds from the brand (including this laser-cut style) to the ‘Shop’ portion of the site, which you can browse here.
… And on that note, I think I’ll grab another coffee — to avoid going down the retail rabbit hole.
Until lunch, at least.
