Pamper Yourself With Lush

Even if you don’t celebrate Valentine’s Day (I don’t), the Lush Floating Flower Bath Bomb ($6.95) and Unicorn Horn Bubble Bar ($7.95) are great for giving yourself a luxurious pampering before getting yourself all dressed up for a romantic evening. Both are vegan and cruelty free.

The Unicorn Horn has lavender, ylang ylang and neroli for fragrance. It is really cute, and my daughter squealed with delight when she saw it. She wanted it for herself. It has a bit of iridescence to it. The Floating Flower has sherbert colors, and has jasmine absolute and cypress oil for its aroma. It is by far my favorite of the two. It is made with a bubble mix, so as it floats on the water it makes colorful foamy bubbles. It is slow to dissolve, and as it does so it releases an array of beautiful colors. I thought it looked really cool. I think it took about 20 minutes to fully dissolve.

After a relaxing soak, I was ready to get my face all dressed up. I was inspired by the bright, fun colors of the Lush goodies and decided I wanted a bright look for a night out. Not colorful bright, but to have bright pink lip and leave the rest of my face in more of soft glow. I debated lashes, but I wanted to keep this a lips focused look. When I think Valentine’s Day, I think lips and kisses. I used MAC’s Girl About Town on the lips, which is part of the MAC Lipstick giveaway currently running. I love a bright pink lip for a bold, flirty look. I feel like this color draws plenty of attention to your lips.

Do you have plans for Valentine’s Day? Is your makeup look already planned out?
