Dark circles why must you ruin my life?! I have had them for as long as I can remember. They have gotten darker and lighter over the years, but I could never pin point a reason why. They have never truly gone away, though, so I have been on a life long journey to figure out how to once and for all get rid of them. I have tried a lot of things over the years, things in my head I knew wouldn’t work but I just had to try, you know?
I saw this mask at my local Fred Meyer for $2.99, so I decided to give it a try. Ever since I got my Lush Floating Flower Bath Bomb I have been in a pampering myself mood, and I figured even if this didn’t work that I would enjoy using it during my bath as a way to relax. I am glad I had that attitude about it, because this didn’t do a thing for me.
This actually felt different from other eye masks. It is thick and felt like a squishy gel patch, almost like those gel window clings but wet. The edge of the eye mask was a bit uncomfortable, and I felt like it poked at my lower lash line. I wore it for the recommended time, and really nothing changed. I am glad it at least didn’t irritate my eyes or anything, but I still wish it had done something. For $2.99 it wasn’t a big gamble, but for now the search is still on for something that helps my dreaded dark circles.
