New In : Benefit's Do The Hoola Kit

I am a sucker for cute packaging. I love brightly coloured make up items, or lipstick in luxurious metallic tubes. I like make up that looks as good on my dressing table as it does on my face. Benefit are always pretty much up there when it comes to cute packaging. Bright colours, and innovative packaging, means a Benefit product is always a treat for the eyes. That being said, when the new Do The Hoola Kit* dropped through my letterbox, I may of squealed a little, making my dog Frank look at me with the strangest of faces.

This new kit, is everything to do with world famous bronzer Hoola. Perfect for Hoola fangirls, and anyone who is looking to bronze up their make up for Spring/Summer. In this little kit, is first of all tips and tricks on how to use the products, something which comes in every Benefit kit which is perfect if you are giving the kit to a younger loved one. I remember I lived for the tips and tricks in make up kits, when I was first getting into make up.

So we have of course, have a mini Hoola bronzer, this bronzer has cult status and I can see for good reason too. It's a matte quite warm toned bronzer which really warms up your skin and gives it a sun kissed glow. I know some use it to contour, but personally I find it too pale for me for that. But I love it as it gives my face a bit of life and is suitable for all skin tones. Then we have a Hoola Ligloss, a ultra plush lip gloss which is a golden brown nude. Perfect for this time of year and perfect for nude lipstick lovers like myself. Dare I say it, it's quite a Kylie Jenner lip gloss shade. Damn someone needs to get her, her own lipstick line as all I seem to describe all lipsticks as 'Kylie Jenner shades' these days!

Then we have a mini BeneBalm, a tinted rose lip balm which moisturises the lips. Tbh, I probably would of preferred PosieBalm or ChaCha Balm for a more peachy/coral look. I do like these lip balms though as they feel nice on your lips and add a swash of colour. There's also a sample of They're Real Mascara, which is one of the UK's best if not the best selling mascara. They fly off the shelves like hotcakes, and if you haven't tried the lengthening mascara yet then this is a great chance to.

Swatches- L-R- Hoola Lipgloss, Dew The Hoola, Hoola powder bronzer, Bene-Balm.
Finally we have the item which makes this kit that little more special. Liquid Hoola. Say what?? Officially called Dew The Hoola, it's not being released as a full product till 2016! But a mini size, has been added to this kit, so give you a taste of what's to come! This is a matte liquid bronzer, very caramel coloured, and is perfect for using to give yourself a bit of a glow. I use this in with foundation to warm it up, but mainly use this like I would use a powder bronzer and use it in places where I would normally tan. Dew The Hoola, adds a sun kissed glow to your face, and perfect for faking a 'just walked off the beach' glow. I would find it too pale to contour with but it's a pretty cool product and if you love normal powder Hoola, you're going yo want to try the liquid form too!

As I said this kit is super cute, and from what I've heard may be the start of many kits being released this summer, which is very exciting. Will you be buying Do The Hoola? And also is anyone else a dab hand with a hula hoop? I am rubbish at them, but I am good at eating them ;)
