It's already two weeks ago, but we went to The hague in the Netherlands. This is where the shop owned by Tas-ka is located. Last year I worked together with the lovely owners Hester & Jantien, to make the photos for their renewed website.
We stayed at the house of Hester and I made photos of her for the blog. Also of the house of Jantien in Delft. It was all such an inspiration for me. The second night was in the house of the sweet Dora, who is also working at Tas-ka and selling some beautiful things there made by her own hand! She was such a sweet lady. Of course I couldn't go to The Hague without going by the wonderful house of Saar Manche. It was such a pleasure to meet her finally. The weekend was filled with joy and a lot of warm and friendly feelings for these people. And now I can't wait to upload the photos. I shot six rolls of film! On our last day, we wanted to go to the sea but time was running short. So Hester & Jantien told us to go to Villa Augustus in Dordrecht. It's an old water tower which was rebuilt to a hotel/ restaurant/ shop. And around the tower there is a park with a big vegetable garden. Really worth a visit if you're there!
