Talking About Memes #11

I decided there were a couple of different discussion memes that I wanted to participate in this year, so like my quote memes, I am combining them into one weekly post.

This week’s question:

Who is your favorite children’s books author and why? (submitted by Kitty @ Vicarious Bookworm)

This is a tough one! As a child I loved E.B. White, Judy Blume, Roald Dahl and Dr Seuss. I don’t really read a lot of children’s books now, though I do read some middle grade (and a whole lot of YA). What children’s books I have read and enjoyed recently are the Spiderwick Chronicles by Holly Black and Tony Di Terlizzi.

What are some good series for younger/ MG readers?

I don’t read a lot of MG or Children’s books, but I did enjoy The Spiderwick Chronicles and the Artemis Fowl series.

Music At The Moment

Most of what I listen to is older stuff from my CD collection… and it’s predominantly all Country. At this very moment I’m listening to Brad Paisley’s 5th Gear.
