This Week We’re Quoting… Shopaholic and Sister

I participate in so many memes that the number of meme posts could be overwhelming each week. This year I decided to break my memes up group like memes together. Some of my favorite memes share quotes, so I’ve put together one post each week for all of my quote memes. Click on the logo for each meme to be taken to the host’s blog.

This week I am featuring quotes from Sophie Kinsella’s Shopaholic and Sister.

Marriages are based on honesty and trust. If I don’t tell him the truth about the Angel bag then I’m betraying that trust.
Bit if I do tell him… I’ll have to tell him about my Def Con One, Code Red Emergency credit card. Which I’m not sure is such a wild idea.
I don’t want to spoil the last precious moments of our honeymoon with a stupid argument.

Please share the title of the book it happened in, as well as the character who ate or drank the special little something you discovered between the pages of a good read. I open the fridge and get out the freshly squeezed orange, grapefruit and cranberry juices. I reach into the bread bin and pull out some seeded granary bread, croissants and muffins. Then I started rooting around in the cupboards for the jams. Three kinds of luxury marmalade, strawberry jam with champagne, wild blossom honey… and Belgian chocolate spread. Finally I get down a range of luxury coffees and teas to choose from. There. No one’s going to say I don’t give my guests a good breakfast.
