Mid-Month Beauty Treats.

Sometimes, a beauty splurge is just on the cards – I know you all feel me on that one! A quick trip to John Lewis resulted in a rather delicious haul of beauty goodies this month…

I repurchased the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Starter Kit, mainly because it’s great value for money for an everyday cleanser, and also because I wanted something easy to pack in my suitcase while I was in Croatia. This is such a great product to keep in your stash, it’s an effortless way to cleanse the skin and it’s a great all-rounder for all skin types. I always get the starter kit for those two muslin clothes too!

Another Liz Earle pick I treated myself to is the Natural Finish Pressed Powder. I actually just repurchased this in a darker shade to prepare for my return, but I already wish I had bought a darker hue (John Lewis only went up to shade 03). This stuff is fantastic, especially during summer when shine is more of an issue. It’s entirely perfecting, and it manages to add coverage without feeling or looking caked on the skin. A staple in my routine, for sure.

As for hair, I treated my locks to the Percy & Reed Wonderbalm – my hair is feeling a little parched at the moment, and in need of some serious TLC, so I thought this would be the stuff to tame and hydrate. It’s early days, but I’m already a fan. It’s one of those all-round products that just helps to nourish and add gloss, with a really lightweight texture so it’s invisible in the hair. An easy step on towel-dried hair that will make all the difference.

Finally, I added another Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge to my stash – as if I needed another! This is the shade Pale Pink, and it’s my summer shade of choice. It’s a delicious, flushed pink that awakens the complexion and gives a gorgeous dewy finish. These Pot Rouge pots are just divine, I have quite a few in my stash (post a-coming!) and I love how they apply and wear.

Have you tried any of these?
