Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick.

If you’ve stumbled across one of my selfies in recent weeks (months?), you may have noticed that I’ve been sporting a rather chic colour on my lips. Allow me to introduce the ultimate definitely-won’t-budge lip product that you need to be snapping up over payday weekend…

Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick isn’t anything like your conventional lipstick; it’s housed in a lipgloss-style tube, complete with applicator, and has this ultra creamy consistency that applies beautifully and sets in place for all-day wear.

If I had to compare these to something, I’d say they’re quite similar to the Sephora Cream Lip Stains we all love so much; Easy-to-apply, oh so creamy, tons of pigment.

I have the shade Venezia, a crisp, bold red with a slight pink undertone – the kinda red that anyone can pull off, and the kinda red that makes your teeth look super white! I’m not a huge red lipstick wearer… I mean, I love it but sometimes I feel like it’s quite high maintenance and pretty annoying if you’re eating every hour, on the hour, like I do.
I can totally get along with these liquid lipsticks, however, because they just don’t budge or smudge or transfer. Once they’re on, they’re on!

I find that all products like these can be a liiiiiittle drying throughout the day, so I tend to layer on a thin slick of lip balm first, and then top up as the day goes on. Not impossible, and worth it for the effortless colour this simple product produces.
