This winter has been, well, more wintery for many of us (I’m looking with empathy at you, Boston), and my little crew and I have been pretty stir crazy on a few occasions. Andy typically bikes to work, but the weather has warranted him driving in a handful of times, which meant more days inside for us.
I’m not complaining, I’m just ready for Spring.
During our days upon days indoors — in addition to my creative meal creations due to lack of groceries…. — we get creative. With both kids-awake time and kids-napping-mom-is-relaxing time.
When Harlow and I are looking for new ideas or inspiration, I pull up Pinterest or a quick image search and let her scroll through. The HP x360 touch-screen in tent-mode is super kid-friendly, and Harlow loves being part of the searching process.
On the days where the heat can’t seem to even keep up with the below zero temps, I often draw a bath and catch up on an episode of The Good Wife. I love that I can use the HP x360 in its stand-mode, so I can easily see the screen. Perfect naptime retreat.
Often my time to reply to emails and get a bit of work done is after the kids go to bed. The HP x360 as a tablet is the perfect way for me to crawl under the covers and still get some things accomplished.
And my favorite snowed-in mood improver: find the sunniest spot in the house, grab my favorite drink, put on some music and tackle my to-do list as I pretend it’s warm outside as the sun shines in through the window.
A girl can dream, right?
HP has partnered with Meghan Trainor to create a documentary using the HP x360 Convertible PC. Visit the website for more information and click #ThatBassTour map for behind the scenes footage!
How are you stomping out the cabin-fever-snowed-in craziness of this Winter? Spring is coming soon, right?
