Munchkin Miracle 360° Sippy Cup Review

It’s no secret that Munchkin are one of my favourite kids brands and i love the fact that they really think outside of the box when it comes to their products. Each one is innovative and packed with features without compromising on design or functionality. They are always bright, colourful and fun for kids, yet handy and practical for parents too.

Their latest product to join the range (it hasn’t been released for sale yet), the Miracle 360° Sippy Cup, is no exception. To the untrained eye it looks like a typical open cup, but don’t be fooled by it’s simple exterior because underneath it packs a punch and has one of the most genius ‘features’ i’ve ever come across – clever spout free technology.

The 360° design allows your little one to drink anywhere around the rim and it is 100% spill proof thanks to a valve that seals automatically after drinking. I must admit, i was a little dubious about that statement when i first saw the cup for myself because it has such a simple design, but trust me, i have tried every which way of spilling or leaking liquid from this cup and it just doesn’t happen. I have no idea how the spout-free technology works in conjunction with the valve but it is simply brilliant.

There has been a fair amount of publicity in the news lately about the deteriorating state of our children’s teeth here in the UK, but with the Miracle 360° Sippy Cup, the good news is that having no spout makes it a lot better for those baby milk teeth and the soft silicone material is gentle on teething gums.

The Miracle 360° Sippy Cup is available in a choice of 2 colours; blue and orange or pink and green. It is suitable for children aged 12 months and can hold up to 10oz/296ml of liquid.

If you are thinking of making the switch from a beaker to an open cup, then the Miracle 360° Sippy Cup is the perfect product to help make the transition as smooth and stress-free as possible. I definitely think it gives Riley a sense of freedom and independence now that he can drink out of an open ‘big boy’ cup without being under constant supervision from mummy or having a little menace of a brother on hand to knock it over and spill liquid everywhere.

It has a RRP of £4.99 which i think is fantastic value for money. It is due to be released in store and online very soon.
