Striped Long skirt è il titolo che ho scelto oggi per la rubrica “Beth wants you to know” che ogni giovedì vi presento in questo fashion blog. Le righe prendono un significato diverso per me in questa occasione e va oltre questo outfit.

Ciao bella gente, eccomi di nuovo con un post per la mia rubrica personale “Beth wants you to know”. La settimana scorsa non ho scritto, perché abbiamo voluto dare spazio al progetto di Iolanda Corio (guardate qui), ma non vedevo l’ora di tornare a raccontarvi i miei pensieri. A proposito… vi sono mancata???? Voi sì e anche molto! Oggi parliamo di quando si va “fuori dalle righe” (ma anche di Striped Long Skirt, promesso). Mi sono sempre chiesta quanto sia importante stare nei limiti che la società ci impone… anzi NO! mi sono sempre chiesta: perché esistono i limiti? e chi li ha creati?, ma soprattutto “Chi glielo ha chiesto?”. No tranquilli… state tranquilli, perché questa non è una di quelle introduzioni a Teologia 1. Ma sono enigmi interessanti per chi come me sta ancora cercando di capire come percorrere questa tortuosa vita. Se ho sempre pensato che stare fuori dalle righe significasse essere UNICA, ora ho capito che a volte può essere utile avere dei limiti quando si parla con le persone. Avete mai pensato quante volte parliamo “male” di amici e parenti senza pensare che chi ci ascolta potrebbe soffrire ascoltando queste parole? Io no fino a qualche giorno fa, quando mi è capitato in prima persona e tanto per la cronaca: FA MALE! Ma allora…. non potremmo iniziare a non andare “fuori dalle righe” quando si parla delle persone? Forse sì, ma sarà davvero impegnativo per la sottoscritta.

Concluso il mio sproloquio (o stream of consciouness, come direbbe quella che dalle righe non esce mai). Oggi vi presento un outfit primaverile! Eh sì finalmente ho tolto le calze (non siamo tutte pazze) e ho indossato questa Striped Long skirt, acquistata qualche giorno fa e un top basic nero. Ho completato il look con questa giacca hot pink, presa in prestito (si fa per dire…), dal armadio di mia sorella per dare colore a tutto il look, Che ne pensate? Baci, Beth.

Hello beautiful people, I’m back with a post on my personal address book “Beth wants you to know”. Last week I did not write, because we wanted to change the project Iolanda Corio (look here) and his new project, but I could not wait to come back to tell you my thoughts. By the way … did you miss me ????I missed you a lot ! Today we will talk about when you go “out of line” (as well as Striped Long Skirt, promised). I always wondered how important it is to stay within the limits that society imposes on us … in fact NO! I always wondered why there are limits? and those who created them ?, but especially “Who asked them?”. calm … do not worry, because this is not one of those introductions to Theology 101. But they are interesting puzzles for people like me who is still trying to figure out how to walk in this tortuous life. If you’ve always thought that staying outside the lines meant to be UNIQUE, now I understand that sometimes it can be helpful to have limits when talking with people. Have you ever thought about how many times we talk “evil” of our friends and family without thinking that these words could hurt who is beside you ? I realised it a few days ago when it happened to me , just for the record: HURTS! But then …. can we start no to go “out of line” when speaking of people? Maybe so, but it will be really challenging for me.

Finished my speech (or stream of consciouness, as would say the one that never goes out of line). Today I present a spring outfits! Yeah I finally removed the socks (are we not all crazy) and I wore this Striped Long skirt, bought a few days ago and a basic black top. I completed the look with this hot pink jacket, borrowed (so to speak …), from my sister’s closet to give color to the whole look, what do you think? Kisses, Beth.
Striped Long skirt es el título que he elegido hoy para el título de la sección “Beth wants you to know” que todos los jueves presento en este blog de moda. Las líneas adquieren un significado diferente para mí en esta ocasión y va más allá de este conjunto.

Hola gente linda, estoy de vuelta con un post en mi sección personal “Beth wants you to know”. La semana pasada no escribí, porque queríamos dejar espacio al proyecto de Iolanda Corio (ver aquí), pero yo ya no podía esperar de volver a contarles mis pensamientos. Por cierto… ¿les hice falta???? ¡Ustedes demasiado! Hoy se habla de cuando nos salimos de la raya (así como también de Striped Long skirt, prometido). Siempre me he preguntado lo importante que es mantenerse dentro de los límites que la sociedad nos impone… mejor dicho, Siempre me he preguntado ¿por qué están los límites? y los ¿quien los creó?, pero sobre todo ¿quien se los pidió?. No se preocupen… esto no es una de esas introducciones a la Teología 1. Pero son preguntas rompecabezas interesantes para la gente como yo, que todavía está tratando de encontrar la manera de caminar por esta vida complicada. Si siempre has pensado que el permanecer fuera de las rayas significaba ser UNICA, ahora entiendo que a veces puede ser útil tener límites cuando se habla con la gente. ¿Alguna vez has pensado en cuántas veces hablamos “mal” de amigos y familiares, sin pensar que podíamos hacer sufrir con estas palabras? Yo no lo hice hasta hace unos días, cuando me pasó a mí en persona y pude entender que: duele. Pero entonces…. ¿no podemos empezar con estar en la raya cuando se habla de las personas? Tal vez sea así, pero será muy difícil para mí.

Terminado mi charla loca (o stream of consciouness, como dice la que nunca se pasa de la raya). Hoy les presento un look de primavera! Sí, finalmente quité los calcetines (no estamos todas locas) y me puse esta Striped Long skirt, comprada hace unos días y un top negro básico. Completé el look con esta chaqueta rosa fuerte, prestada (por así decirlo …). ¿qué les parece?. Besos, Beth.
