[ SPOT ] Tea for Lovers
I know this blog is more about fashion but I thought it'd be a shame if I didn't share this hidden gem I found in Brooklyn last weekend. I love living in Williamsburg (so much energy and creativity going on when it comes to dining and shopping) but one of my biggest frustration was that I could not find a good tea place. When I was living in West Chelsea, I used to go to Santuary T in SoHo, which has a great selection of artisan tea paired with gourmet bites and ah-mazing tea infused cocktails. But I was unlucky to find anything like that in Brooklyn. As I was almost giving up on the idea of finding a dedicated tea shop in B'Burg, I stumbled upon this tea oasis in an unexpected neighborhood in Greenpoint. BELLOCQ carries an incredible variety of artisan tea from all over the world. It's more like a tea showroom than a cafe but you can get so many interesting blend and pure options to take home with you or for your loved ones. I got some Hindu Holiday (chai blend), Etoile de L'inde (greean/jasmine blend) and The Pheonix Oolong and I love'em all!!! Next time when you are in town, make sure to pay a visit and you won't be disappointed.
