LIFE | On Christmas Eve.

The Christmas tree that we picked out back in October.

So the big C-day is almost upon us and I still don't quite feel ready. The season has been sneaky about it's arrival and I can't believe that we are already on the eve.
Today has got away from me all too quickly and as much as we will soon be on the cusp of Christmas, I'd rather tonight didn't have to end. Brand new pyjamas are on, every film circled in the television guide and food is in the oven for the traditional night before Christmas over-indulging to begin. Although we are down on the mince pie front (not that I actually like the pesky little things), we have copious amounts of everything else festive and I am particularly fond of our tree!
Although I still have ridiculous amounts of coursework to crack on with this holiday period (and before I return back to university in the new year), as of right now nothing is going to get between me and the joys of Christmas day! Now if you'll excuse me, there are still paper chains to be ritualistically put together and hung because my Christmas spirit knows no bounds and thinks that it is acceptable to still be decorating at this late stage in the game!
