Time Saving Beauty Hacks w/ Tarte Cosmetics | Video

If I really want my makeup to be perfect, it could take up to an hour to do. But, it’s not every day that we have that kind of time! So, this calls for some beauty hacks. A beauty hack is anything that simplifies your beauty routine, making it take less time or preventing time costly mistakes! In today’s tutorial, I show you 3 beauty hacks using Tarte Cosmetics. Was very excited to collaborate with them, as I am a fan of everything I’ve tried, so it was great to try more! Now let’s get to hackin’!

1. Mix Foundation & Moisturizer: This is great in the winter when you’re using a full coverage foundation, say bye bye to flakes! I used the Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Full Coverage Foundation ($38) and mixed in a bit of moisturizer to make this matte & full coverage foundation a bit more natural looking.
2. Use Lipstick as Blush: This tip is ideal for travel- saves space in your makeup bag! I used Amazonian Butter Lipstick in Coral Blossom ($16), applied with my fingers and blended out for a fresh brush look. If you like a bolder look, apply some powder blush like Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in Tipsy ($26) on top and your cheek color will stay all day and night!
3. Prevent Mascara Smudges w/ a Business Card: The number one makeup mistake I make that wastes so much time is getting mascara on my eyelid somewhere. Then I have to wait for it to dry before flaking it off and continuing my makeup routine! By aligning a business card along your lash line while applying mascara, you get no mess! I used Lights, Camera, Flashes Statement Mascara ($23) in this video.
