Key West Wandering

When we were in Miami after being on board the Celebrity Reflection ship we chose to rent a car near the airport and drive all the way to Key West to experience the island and visit one of Lisa’s friends. We ended up being there at 5 am, got a few hours of sleep, got up early and got something out of the day. We ate lunch at the harbor, shot pictures, saw some of the unique places that the island has to offer and ended the day with a sunset cruise.

We went to bed early because we were leaving for Miami again at 5 am – Nana had to catch her flight around noon and the ride takes about 3 hours, but was for unknown reasons extended. We got stopped by the police because I was driving too fast (whoops) which was necessary if Nana had to reach the airport on time. It’s certainly not the last time I go to Key West – it’s such a beautiful place, there is a good atmosphere and friendly residents.
